Alebrijes !

Pablo Linares (1906 - 1992) invented these monsters he dreamed about when he was sick and unconscious  He called them Alebrijes, by the word they were shouting. They are usually made of papier mâché. There was this strange parade of monsters in Col. Roma neigborhood I couldn't resist to take a few pictures. Enjoy.
